When this taxi company approached AJD to launch them in the South
West, we were a little apprehensive. How on earth could we discriminate
them from other taxi companies? Most companies show a car with headlines
like 'On time, every time' [hardly believable].
However, when we delved into their modus operandi, we found that
they had invested thousands in Hi- Tech software that meant the
pick-ups were quicker, and they rang when they were outside. They
also have an ingenious service, where you can register your favourite
pick-up-points , and then when you ring, they know where you are
and a car is on its way automatically. Hi Tech was definitely their
USP, which we encapsulated in a strap-line.
V Cars are also proud of their standard of cleanliness, something
else we promoted, especially on wash room posters. The main media
was billboards and local radio.
